Save Heritage City of Mysoru for posterity

We, the Children of Mysoru, the City of Palaces and heritage sites in India and other children elsewhere in the world, are confused because we see uncontrolled destruction of greenery around us.
Their question is - why are you cutting trees in the name of development?
Whose development?
If it is for our development, please do not destroy our future environment and carry on with it, because, we need our ecology to be surviving for our periods also.
Trees also have life in them and they are helping us to breath life into our survival, precious oxygen, whereas, man's activities are centering around spewing of more and more Carbon Dioxide and other Green House Gases that are deadly to our atmosphere and our future generation.

Nature has to be equally shared between all living beings like birds, bees, animals, insects and us human beings. Just because other living beings cannot protest or go to courts for justice, it does not mean that we should deny them their share of nature
Please do not tamper and let nature remain because they are also like us GOD'S OWN CHILDREN.

Many urban areas in the world have become concrete jungles, no place for us, children, to play or even jump around, precious rain water is not soaking into the ground, our wells are dried up or have become unuseable due to contaminated ground water, air around us is chocking our breathing, we are afraid of inhaling lungful of air because of fear of pollution, whatever nournishment we want to get from food is not possible because food articles have been adulterated. All this is, because, man's hunger for more and more and more for himself and his own people. Poor are becoming poorer and rich are becoming richer.

Time has come for all of us to think in terms of conserving natural resources that are not infinite; tomorrow may be too late; we, the children, have understood the seriousness of the problem and we have cut down our needs and requirements - we are not yearning for pizzas and colas anymore, we are not after costly cloths, shoes etc., and we are more concentrating on conserving nature, good behaviour towards our parents and elders, we are sharing whatever we have with the poor kids who are coming to our school.

Please our last request is, let us preserve nature, please leave Mysore City alone and development need not be at the cost of destruction of nature and displacement of the poor by buying them out.
